HYDERABAD: After making stinging comments for not being drafted into the KCR cabinet, many leaders have developed cold feet and did a U-turn and some even blamed media for making their comments sensational.
Former home minister Nayani Narsimha Reddy, who had on Monday said chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao did not keep his word on accommodating him in the cabinet, on Wednesday said TRS working president K T Rama Rao enquired about his comments in the council.
" I told him (KTR) that whatever he told in an informal chat with the media, they (media personnel) made it headlines," the former minister said.
The former minister, who said KCR denied ticket to him and his son-in-law to contest the 2018 assembly elections, clarified he has full faith in the TRS. "My party is TRS and KCR is my leader," he said, adding he was ready to meet the chief minister and accept whatever post he offers him.
Another former minister Jogu Ramanna, who went incommunicado since cabinet expansion on Sunday, surfaced in Adilabad on Wednesday. He said though he did not get a ministerial berth, he would abide by the decision of the party chief and CM. On Tuesday, former deputy chief minister and MLA T Rajaiah too denied reports that he was unhappy over denial of cabinet berth to Madiga community. He said he had faith in KCR and had blessings of the CM from the time he was deputy chief minister till date.
