After a satisfactory first week, Chhichhore can see a slump in the box office numbers because of the release of Ayushmann Khurrana-starrer Dream Girl. Initial reviews suggest it is a fun film and will be liked by the audience. Dream Girl is Ayushmann's first film after winning National Film Award this year. He was last seen in Anubhav Sinha's Article 15.

Coming back to Chhichhore, the film received a mixed response from film critics. But the nostalgia factor attached to the film along with word of mouth publicity did wonders for the Nitesh Tiwari directorial. It is set in the 90s and current times and will remind you of your good old college days.

In Chhichhore, seven friends, played by the aforementioned actors, explore friendship in the hostel during an inter-college sports championship. They call themselves 'Losers', but they come out as winners in friendship. College friends getting busy in their work and personal life to reunite one day and recall the old times may remind you of your own story. Though comparing it with other classic campus dramas like Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar and 3 Idiots will disappoint you. It is filled with some out-of-the-box and some clichéd punchlines which will transport you to your college life with your 'kamine' friends.

CHHICHHORE MOVIE REVIEW:

About the performance by the actors, IndiaToday.in's Vibha Maru writes, "College dramas like these require strong performances, with the story needing the lead actors help propel the film. But in Chhichhore, Sushant and Shraddha will leave you hanging. It's the film's supporting cast, a shoutout to Varun Sharma, that carries the burden of the entire film on their shoulders."

Ayushmann Khurrana film, Dream Girl, poses a great threat to Sushant Singh Rajput's Chhichhore.
