    BharatPe hires executives across business, finance & operations

    NEW DELHI: In an effort to strengthen its leadership team, fintech company, BharatPe has recently hired three executives across business, finance and operations.
    The company has appointed Subhasis Beura, ex-Reckitt executive, as chief business officer - Brands and Commerce, Nishit Sharma, earlier with ICICI, is the new chief business officer - Growth while Nishant Saluja, earlier with Paytm, has joined as vice president of lending and consumer operations.

    “As we continue to ease and grow business for small merchants in India, the new hires will provide the thought leadership & strategy for our growth. Together, we shall strive to create the largest merchant lending network for small shopkeepers in India,” Ashneer Grover, co-founder of BharatPe said.

    “In the past few months, we have on-boarded over 1.8 million merchants, and we are aiming to enable over 12 million merchants over the next two years. Their experience and a deep understanding of the industry will be instrumental in leading this growth”, he added.

    Beura has more than 14 years of experience in managing global and national FMCG, automotive and financial brands, while Saluja has 18 years of experience in building and growing brands, according to a release shared by the company.
