Technica has received a potential $74M task order to help the U.S. Air Force update a weapon system built to help commanders assess the risk of vulnerabilities on mission-critical networks.

The company said Thursday it will also support sustainment of the Cyberspace Vulnerability Assessment/Hunter platform as part of the Defensive Applications and Network Support order.

Miguel Collado, president and CEO of Technica, said the company will apply its engineering experience in efforts to help the Air Force "increase the CVA/H WS state of readiness and responsiveness to identify, pursue and mitigate all cyberspace threats.”

The service branch awarded the order through the Network-Centric Solutions-2 Small Business contract.

According to Technica, the award consolidates the Air Force's Defensive Cyber Information Assurance and Network Support contract, Defensive Cyber System Engineering and Maintenance System Support contracts.
