WARANGAL: Government chief whip D Vinay Bhaskar, on Friday, called upon TRS cadre and the citizens of Warangal Urban to not use plastic in order to protect the environment.
Speaking to media, he said that he is trying to make Warangal plastic-free. He held meetings with district administration and urged them to work towards a plastic-free city. “Do not bring bouquets and shawls to honour me. Donate the amount to poor students for their shoes and uniforms.
For the future generations, banning of plastic is good for the society,” he told the party cadre.
Vinay Bhaskar also appealed to residents to use cloth bags and create awareness about environmental protection. He also assured that all parks in the city were going to have open gyms, like the Hanamkonda public garden and children’s park in Balasamudram.
Vinay Bhaskar also demanded a Kazipet railway division from the Union government and blamed them for delay in the development of the Kazipet Junction.
