KELLY: 6:49 A.M. CAM: WE ARE TAKING A LIVE LOOK. YOU SEE HOW CLOUDY IT IS AS WE START THE DAY. 68 DEGREES AND WE HAVE WIND OUT OF THE SOUTH AT FIVE MILES PER HOUR. THE DEW POINT IN THE 60’S, SO STICKY CONDITIONS OF STARTING OFF SATURDAY MORNING. SATELLITE AND RADAR, NOT ONLY CLOUD COVER, BUT WE HAVE RAIN SHOWERS. THIS IS ALL BECAUSE OF A COLD FRONT TRYING TO COME THROUGH THIS MORNING, AND THAT WILL BRING US RAIN SHOWERS THIS MORNING BEFORE WE DRY OUT THIS AFTERNOON. RIGHT NOW, LIGHT RAI SHOWERS TOWARD SOUTHERN PORTIONS OF BUTLER COUNTY, EVEN IN ALLEGHENY COUNTY AND TO SOME LIGHT SPOTTY SHOWERS OUT TOWARD THE NORTHERN PORTIONS OF WASHINGTON COUNTY. SOME RAIN SHOWERS THIS MORNING. HERE IS AROUND LUNCH, YOU CAN SEE THE RAIN SHOWERS WILL BE MOSTLY OFF TO THE EAST OF THE CITY BY THE TIME WE GET INTO THE NOON HOUR. IT IS ALSO RIGHT AROUND WIN THE START, PITT VERSUS PENN STATE. AND AT THIS IS WHERE STATE COLLEGES BASED. WE COULD SEE RAIN SHOWERS BY THE TIME WE KICK OFF THE GAME THIS AFTERNOON. AND 6:00 P.M., THE SKIES WILL CLEAR, AND WE ARE LOOKING AT MORE SUNSHINE FOR THE LATTER HALF OF SATURDAY. A REFRESHING START FOR SUNDAY MORNING. UPPER 50’S. THEN WE WILL SEE MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES THROUGH THE DAY TOMORROW AND THE SECOND HALF OF THE WEEKEND IS LOOKING NICER FOR -- WITH SUNSHINE AND DRIER CONDITIONS. SO AS WE GO TO BACK TO WORK ON MONDAY, LOTS OF SUNSHINE TO START, BUT THEN CLOUDS BILLOWED FOR THE AFTERNOON AND WE WILL SEE SOME -- BUILD FOR THE AFTERNOON AND WE WILL SEE SOME MORE SHOWERS. BUT THE REST OF THE WEEK IS LOOKING NICE. AND GOING TO THE TROPICS, A TROPICAL STORM WITH A SUSTAINED WINDS OF 40 MILES PER HOUR. UNFORTUNATELY, THE CENTER OF THE STORM IS 70 MAU EAST OF THE SAME ISLAND IN THE NORTHERN BAHAMAS AT THAT WAS SLAMMED BY HURRICANE DORIAN. IT IS MOVING TO THE NORTHWEST AT SEVEN MILES PER HOUR. AS IT MOVES, IT IS EXPECTED TO GRAZE THAT ISLAND AND BRING IN ABOUT 2-4 INCHES OF RAINFALL BEFORE IT MOVES AWAY FROM THE ISLAND CHAIN. BY MONDAY MORNING IT WILL BE A CATEGORY ONE HURRICANE, BUT IT SHOULD STAY OFFSHORE OF THE U.S. AND IT BE GOING TO THE EAST, MOVING INTO THE OCEAN OPEN -- OPEN OCEAN BY THE MIDDLE HALF OF NEXT WEEK. AT HOME HERE, MOSTLY CLOUDY TO START WITH RAIN SHOWERS THIS MORNING. THEN WE WILL SEE THEM COME TO AN END BY THIS AFTERNOON. WE WILL SEE THE CLOUDS A DECREASE FOR THE DAY. IT WILL BE HUMID FOR TODAY, BUT THE HUMIDITY WILL BE DROPPING BY THE TIME WE REACH SUNDAY. HIGH TODAY OF 78 DEGREES. TONIGHT, 50’S AND CLEAR SKIES. IT WILL BE A PLEASANT NIGHT. YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO OPEN UP THE WINDOWS AND LET THE BREEZE IN. FOR THE NEXT FOUR DAYS, PLUS FOUR, WE WILL SEE SOME BEAUTIFUL SUNSHINE TOMORROW.
