BENGALURU: Deputy CM and transport minister
Laxman Savadi said in New Delhi on Saturday that the
Karnataka government has agreed "in-principle" to reduce the hefty traffic penalties under the amended Motor Vehicle Act. The revised fines are likely to be announced on Monday.
Savadi said the transport department has a copy of the downward revision of traffic fines in
Gujarat. "We will look into it on Monday morning and will take a final decision the same day," he said.
