Just like its competitor Dream Girl this week, Chhichhore received mixed reviews from critics but was applauded well by the audience, as is clear by the box office collection.

Starring Shraddha Kapoor, Sushant Singh Rajput, Varun Sharma, Prateik Babbar, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Naveen Polishetty, Saharsh Kumar Shukla and Tushar Pandey in key roles, Chhichhore is a campus drama set in the 90s and current times. The film reminds you of your college days as the characters explore friendship in hostel during an inter-college sports championship. They call themselves 'Losers', who come out as winners in friendship.

Working the nostalgia factor, Nitesh Tiwari has played a safe bet. The audience is able to relate with the story and see themselves in the characters. College friends getting busy in their work and personal lives, only to reunite one day and recall the old times may remind you of your own story.Though comparing it with other classic campus dramas like Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar and 3 Idiots will disappoint you.

CHHICHHORE MOVIE REVIEW

About the performances by the actors, IndiaToday.in's Vibha Maru wrote, "College dramas like these require strong performances, with the story needing the lead actors help in propelling the film. But in Chhichhore, Sushant and Shraddha will leave you hanging. It's the film's supporting cast, a shoutout to Varun Sharma, that carries the burden of the entire film on their shoulders."

Directed by IIT alumnus Nitesh Tiwari, Chhichhore has all ingredients to tickle the funny bone. The film is a hit among college students and the word-of-mouth publicity has also helped it set the cash registers ringing.
