Mumbai: Sunday megablock to hit Main and Harbour lines today

A megablock on CSMT-bound slow line between Kalyan and Thane stations from 11.20am to 3.50pm is likely to hit services on the Central Railway (CR) Main line on Sunday.

MUMBAI: A megablock on CSMT-bound slow line between Kalyan and Thane stations from 11.20am to 3.50pm is likely to hit services on the Central Railway (CR) Main line on Sunday.
The CSMT-bound trains will not be available at Thakurli, Kopar, Mumbra and Kalva stations during the block period.
To carry out maintenance work of tracks, signals and overhead equipment (OHE), a jumbo block will be taken up on Up and Down Harbour lines between Mahim and Goregaon from 11am to 4 pm on Sunday.

During the block period, all Goregaon trains and Harbour services towards CR as well as some of the Churchgate-Goregaon slow services will remain cancelled.
On Harbour line, a rail block will be carried out on Up and Down lines between Vashi and Panvel from 11.30am to 4pm. Panvel-Andheri services will remain cancelled during the block period.
However, special services will be run between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus and Vashi during the block period.
Trans-Harbour services will be available between Thane-Nerul and Vashi stations during the block period.
