    NEW DELHI: Nifty futures on the Singapore Exchange were trading 16 points, or 0. 15 per cent, lower at 10,989, indicating a negative start for Dalal Street. Here are a few stocks which may buzz the most in today’s trade:

    CG Power: Private equity giant KKR India picked up 10 per cent stake in CG Power and Industrial Solutions for over Rs 89 crore through open market transactions.

    Coffee Day Enterprises: Blackstone Group has signed a definitive agreement to buy Global Village Tech Park, owned by a subsidiary of Coffee Day Enterprises, for about Rs 2,770 crore.

    NBCC: State-owned NBCC has bagged a Rs 390- crore contract from Utkal University, Odisha for constructions in the existing campus as well as for building a new campus.

    SBI: The bank said the operations of the bank could be affected if the two-day strike call given by officers' unions materalises.

    Mahindra Logistics: Mahindra Logistics (MLL) said it has bagged a contract from Asian Paints to strengthen its supply-chain in eastern India.

    Allahabad Bank, Indian Bank: The board of Allahabad Bank approved the merger proposal with Indian Bank, making the amalgamated entity the seventh largest public sector lender of the country.

    Corporation Bank, Union Bank: Corporation Bank said the board has given its in-principle approval for the merger with Union Bank of India.

    RCom: Global Cloud Xchange, a subsidiary of Reliance Communications, has filed for bankruptcy protection in a US court, after missing payments on $350 million of 7% bonds that matured in August.

    Monsanto India: German chemical and pharma major Bayer AG said it has completed the integration of biotech major Monsanto's India business with itself.

    MMTC, STC: The government plans to shut down state-owned trading firms MMTC, State Trading Corp (STC) and PEC.

    JSW Steel: NCLAT will hear three probe agencies, including ED and SFIO, regarding JSW Steel's plea seeking immunity from prosecution after buyout of Bhushan Power and Steel, which is facing money laundering allegations.

    BEML: Defence PSU BEML and Wipro Infrastructure Engineering signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to work together in aerospace, industrial automation, 3D printing, artificial intelligence and hydraulic system engineering.

    TCS: The IT giant will take over 1,300 people from General Motors’ India engineering centre after it won a large, five-year engineering services contract from the American carmaker.
