Vivek Oberoi and Madhur Bhandarkar lead Bollywood in wishing PM Narendra Modi happy birthday

On PM Narendra Modi's 69th birthday, Bollywood celebs took to social media to wish him a long life. Vivek Oberoi recited a special poem written by him in a video dedicated to the Prime Minister.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrates his 69th birthday today. While the entire nation is wishing the Prime Minister on his special day in different ways, Bollywood celebrities are also taking to social media to wish the Pradhan Sevak. Leading the industry, Vivek Oberoi and Madhur Bhandarkar have extended their wishes to Modi.

Vivek Oberoi shared a special video message for the PM and wrote, "Many many happy returns of the day to our beloved PM @narendramodi ji. Here’s a humble birthday wish from a proud Indian. Jai Hind. (sic)"

In the video, Vivek recites a special poem for Narendra Modi written by the actor. He wished for Modi's long life and aspired for a golden future of the country.

Madhur Bhandarkar, on the other hand, shared a file photo of himself with Narendra Modi. ALong with the picture, he wrote, "Happy Birthday to Hon. PM Shri. @narendramodi ji. My sincere gratitude for your continuous efforts for reformation and development of our great nation. May lord Ganesh bless you with a very long and healthy life. (sic)"

Karan Johar wished the Prime Minister with a note. He wrote, "Happy birthday to our honourable Prime Minister
@narendramodi. May our great country grow from strength to strength with your guidance and love...Best wishes for a productive and peaceful year ahead....respectfully yours.... (sic)"

Arjun Kapoor didn't stay behind in wishing PM Modi on his birthday. He writes, "Your selfless dedication & hard work towards the country is what inspires all of us !!! Hope you have an amazing year ahead & so does our country through you...Wishing you a very happy birthday @narendramodi ji...(sic)"

Raveena Tandon also took to Twitter and wished PM Narendra Modi. She wrote, "Wishing the honourable PM of India @narendramodi ji a very happy birthday. Wishing you a long life and good health. May you take us towards a strong united and prosperous nation.. (sic)"

Riteish Deshmukh, whose father late Vilasrao Deshmukh was a Congress leader and former Maharashtra Chief Minister, didn't shy away from wishing the top leader in the BJP. Sharing a photo of the PM, he wrote, "Wishing our Honourable Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji a very happy birthday- May god bless you with the best of health and long life Sir. #happybirthdaynarendramodi #HappyBdayPMModi (sic)."

Actress Nimrat Kaur praised the PM on his birthday. She wrote, "Happy birthday to our honourable Prime Minister
@narendramodi ji . Your dynamism, relentless enthusiasm and radiance inspires billions. Praying for your great health and unbound peace and happiness always (sic)."

Calling Narendra Modi the hardest worker, Randeep Hooda shared a shloka from the Mahabharata to wish him a happy birthday. He wrote, "To the hardest worker in any room. The man who has risen from amongst us,the man who speaks our thoughts,the man who reflects our strengths,the man who inspires a billion hearts #HappyBdayPMModi.(sic)"

Sidharth Malhotra too took to Twitter to wish Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Calling him a bold and dynamic leader, Sidharth wrote, "A very Happy Birthday to one of the boldest and dynamic leader of our country @narendramodi Ji."

Earlier this year, many Bollywood celebrities, including Karan Johar, Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, among others, met the PM at his residence in Mumbai. Many of the them took to social media to share pictures. A selfie went viral in which the stars were seen with the Prime Minister.

On his birthday, PM Narendra Modi is on a visit to his home state Gujarat. The Prime Minister reached Ahmedabad on Monday night, where he was received by a host of supporters, including Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani. He started his special day with his mother Heeraben Modi. Modi will also be performing a puja at the Narmada district of Gujarat. The puja will be part of the Namami Devi Narmada Mahotsav which is being organised by the Vijay Rupani government to mark the rise of water levels --138.68 metres -- in the Sardar Sarovar dam.

Ahead of his birthday, BJP workers in Delhi led by party MP Manoj Tiwari celebrated Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday at the India Gate on Monday night.

Wishes for PM Modi's birthday have started pouring in. From stalwart politicians like Union ministers Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh and Nirmala Sitharaman to major names in the Bollywood industry are wishing Modi on his special day.
