Pakistani Hindus who have returned to India are facing a new challenge of getting basic facilities like water, food, electricity and jobs as the tag of Pakistani' still haunts them.

Around 150 Pakistani Hindu immigrants have found home around the periphery of Signature Bridge, in Wazirabad. They don't have pucca houses and are forced to live in makeshift tents. With no assistance from the government, these refugees can't even get a job.

Basic facilities like electricity, food and water supply, sanitation and hygiene are missing. Families are forced to drink filthy water and eat boiled rice with salt. Men are denied job as they don't have any government identity card. However, they are happy to be back in their country where they feel much safer.
