GANDHINAGAR: Prime Minister
Narendra Modi on Tuesday met his mother Heeraben in Gandhinagar on the occasion of his 69th birthday.
The PM paid obeisance with folded hands to his mother, who was seen blessing her now world-famous son.
PM Modi also had lunch with his mother.
Modi was to meet his mother early on Tuesday before the Sardar Sarovar event but later there was a change in the schedule.

Modi offered prayers as part of the state government's 'Namami Devi Narmade Mahotsav' celebrations being held to mark the Sardar Sarovar dam receiving water to its full capacity.
The prime minister also visited various developmental projects being carried out near the dam and the Statue of Unity to boost tourism.
At separate events in Delhi, BJP leaders cut 69-kg and 370-kg cakes, symbolising his age and scrapping of Article 370 of the Constitution.
