The Bears could be looking to add depth on their defensive line.

Chicago worked out four pass-rushers Tuesday, according to a report from the Chicago Tribune.

The group appears to be highlighted by Shane Ray, who was selected by the Broncos out of Missouri with the No. 23 pick in the 2015 draft. He recorded 14 sacks in 49 games over four seasons with Denver before signing with the Ravens in May.

Ray, however, was released by Baltimore shortly before Week 1. He has struggled with injuries over the last two seasons.

“I will be a starter the next place that I go,” Ray said in the offseason (via the Denver Post). “That’s the kind of player that I am and that’s the type of player that I’ve been. Wherever I go next, they’ll want me and it will be time for me to do what I could have been doing. And I’ll be healthy. That will be a difference, too.”

The Bears also visited with Noah Spence, Nate Orchard and Dekoda Watson, according to the Tribune's report.

Chicago evened its record at 1-1 this season after Eddy Pineiro drilled a 53-yard field goal with time expiring to give the team a 16-14 win over the Broncos last weekend.

The Bears enter Week 3 tied for sixth in the NFL with seven total sacks in 2019.
