Cop 'imposes fine on schoolboy' in Tamil Nadu's Salem, video goes viral

A cop stopped a schoolboy riding a bicycle and asked him to stand on the roadside at Eriyur in Tamil Nadu’s Dharmapuri district. The video of the incident has gone viral on social media. In the video, the cop can be seen grabbing the schoolboy’s bicycle and taking it to roadside. Onlookerss recorded the incident assuming that the cop had imposed fine on the boy for not wearing helmet while riding the bicycle. Inquiry into the incident revealed that the cop had asked the boy to bring his parents for riding the bicycle without holding the handle bars.
