Some 130,000 people are homeless in California, by far the largest population in any state, according to the United States Interagency Council on Homelessness. Lester Holt reports from the streets of Los Angeles — a city where the homeless population jumped 16 percent in just a year — to give a firsthand look at the growing crisis.
