This article is more than 4 years old.

These legendary international hotels are known for their high style and high level of service but it's their mastery of gastronomy that keeps their guests–from both near and far– returning time and time again. Here, we’re rounding up the most impressive cookbooks sprung from the hallowed kitchens of the world’s most impressive luxury hotels.

Claridge’s (London, UK)

Dating back to 1856, Claridge’s is one of London’s timeless five-star hotels. The property’s trend-setting fine dining has always been one of the biggest draws. Claridge’s: The Cookbook, authored by executive chef Martyn Nail and food writer Meredith Erickson, presents a collection of the hotel’s favorite signature dishes including chicken pie, lobster risotto and the famous Flapper cocktail made with British strawberries, crème de cassis and champagne.

Nobu Hotels (Worldwide)

Celebrity chef Nobuyuki Matsuhisa (a.k.a Nobu) is famous all around the world for his chic Japanese-fusion cuisine with international inspiration. In the sleek World of Nobu by Nobuyuki Matsuhisa, the famed chef shares his personal story and recipes with his growing fanbase. There’s no better time to learn more about this master, as the Nobu empire is taking over the world with new luxury hotels (like Nobu Barcelona, pictured above) opening across the globe.

The NoMad Hotel (New York, USA)

Packed with character and a hip aesthetic, The NoMad Hotel in Manhattan’s Flatiron District is a veritable temple for foodies with Chef Daniel Humm of the three-Michelin-star Eleven Madison Park running the hotel’s lauded food and beverage program. In The NoMad Cookbook, Humm and former business partner/restauranteur Will Guidara share the secrets behind their Michelin fare. Also, keep an eye out for the upcoming The NoMad Cocktail Book by Leo Robitschek, who is the James Beard award-winning mixologist and bar director at The NoMad.

Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc (Côte d'Azur, France)

The South of France has many storied hotels attracting star-studded guests, but none more than Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc, the fabled seaside sanctuary of retro Riviera charm, cocooning seclusion and gorgeous gastronomy by Executive Chef Arnaud Poëtte, Head Chef Olivier Gaïatto and Pastry Chef Lilian Bonnefoi. In the stunning coffee table book and cookbook, Hotel Du Cap Eden Roc: Cuisine & Cravings of the Stars by Francois Simon, the hotel’s best and brightest seafood dishes can now be enjoyed in your very own home.

Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons (Oxford, UK)

Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons is a true gastronomic destination by celebrated chef Raymond Blanc. In his hardcover cookbook, Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons, Blanc provides a season-by-season breakdown of the prized dishes offered at the English-countryside property, which is considered one of the world’s finest hotel-restaurants. Try Blanc’s French classics (all with a cheeky British twist) such as steak and chips and gull’s eggs with asparagus.

Elegant Hotels (Barbados)

For those with a taste for the beach, there’s Elegant Hotels, a collection of seven luxury beachfront hotels in Barbados, each with its own distinct style and executive chef.  In the hotel group’s flagship cookbook Taste (soon to be available on Amazon), the chefs dish up local Barbadian (Bajan) cuisine, which is a flavor-packed mix of African, Portuguese, Indian, Creole and British influences. You’ll get a real taste of tropical island living with dishes like smoked flying fish and rum raisin ice cream.
