Christina Koch, an astronaut currently on board the ISS has revealed some stunning photos of our planet

Astronauts on board the International Space Station (ISS) are treated to unique views of our planet that most people will never have the chance to see.

The ISS orbits our planet at a height of around 400km, meaning the space station makes around 16 trips around Earth every single day.

Now, Christina Koch, an astronaut currently on board the ISS has revealed some stunning photos of our planet.

She tweeted the photos, writing that she hoped they’d ‘brighten your day’. While she did reveal that the photos show Australia, Iran, France and the US, it remains unclear exactly where each photo was snapped.

While we're used to seeing photo of Earth from the ground, Ms Koch's photos give us a unique bird's-eye-view of Earth.
