Resentment in TDP after Kodela Sivaprasada Rao's death

The TDP’s new-found aggression to take on YSRC seems to have backfired as many party sympathisers are upset at the way the party handled suicide of former speaker Kodela Sivaprasada Rao. Although Kodela was an undisputed leader in Palnadu region, cadres feel the party should have handled Kodela’s suicide properly. “The trouble is that the boss never sets his focus on the issue when it really matters but tries to take the centre stage after the situation slips out of hands,” said a senior leader.

AMARAVATI: The TDP’s new-found aggression to take on YSRC seems to have backfired as many party sympathisers are upset at the way the party handled suicide of former speaker Kodela Sivaprasada Rao.
Although Kodela was an undisputed leader in Palnadu region, cadres feel the party should have handled Kodela’s suicide properly. “The trouble is that the boss never sets his focus on the issue when it really matters but tries to take the centre stage after the situation slips out of hands,” said a senior leader.
Senior leaders said Chandrababu Naidu should have summoned rival groups in Sattenapalle and Narasaraopet constituencies and settled the issue long back.
