Elite rugby is a no nonsense place. Tough decisions have to be made, bodies have to be put on the line and players who don't live up to the very highest standards are swiftly replaced.
But players and coaches who've moved into TV punditry have to find more diplomatic and thoughtful ways of getting their points across in front of the cameras.
So it was good to see Sir Graham Henry, the former New Zealand coach who was known as the Great Redeemer during his time in charge of Wales, throw all that out of the window when asked a question while pitch-side.
Henry, who led the All Blacks to the 2011 Rugby World Cup title, was asked how the New Zealand players who were yet to play in a Rugby World Cup would be feeling ahead of their match against South Africa.
There were 12 players in the squad who were making their tournament debuts and both sides are widely tipped to reach the latter stages of the tournament, with many former players in fact naming the Springboks as their favourites to lift the Webb Ellis trophy. In the event, the All Blacks won 23-13.
His response was probably unexpected, but very much to the point. You can watch it below.
