In an old video that's going viral on social media, veteran Bollywood actress Rekha pays tribute to Pakistani classical singer, late Mehdi Hassan by singing one of his popular songs.

In the clip that has resurfaced, Rekha is singing beautifully to Mehdi Hassan's ghazal, 'Mujhe Tum Nazar Se Gira To Rahe Ho..." The actress loses herself in the lyrics and then hides her face, saying she could have done better.

Mehdi Hassan was a Pakistani ghazal singer and playback singer, and was famously known s the "King of Ghazals". He has been credited for beringing the beauty of ghazal singing to a global audience.

Rekha, whose real name is Bhanurekha Ganesan, is one of the most popular Bollywood actresses. She started her career at the age of 13 in the Telugu film Rangula Ratnam. She later made her Bollywood debut with the film Sawan Bhadon, starring Navin Nischol. In her glowing career, she has delivered sparkling performances in films like Shyama in Namak Haram,Zohrabhai in Muqaddar Ka Sikander.

Rekha was last seen in Yamla Pagla Deewana: Phir Se.
