For the first time, music legends U2 will perform in India on December 15.
The show at DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai, which marks the final date on The Joshua Tree Tour 2019, promises to be a huge celebration.
The Joshua Tree Tour 2019 kicks off in Auckland on November 8 and will visit Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Perth, before moving on to Singapore, Tokyo, Seoul, Manila and finishing up in Mumbai.
"Mumbai is the perfect city to end our JT 2019 tour, " says Larry Mullen, the drummer and co-founder of the rock band.
BookMyShow is bringing the show to India in collaboration with Live Nation.
"It was not by chance, it was by design" that U2 is ending its global tour in India, says Ashish Hemrajani, founder and CEO of BookMyShow. "This is an extremely positive message that gets carried for us as a country."
