Kim Kardashian has admitted she delayed giving birth to her daughter North for two hours so she could have the perfect nail colour for the big moment.

Appearing on her friend Jonothan Cheban's FoodGod: OMFG podcast, Kardashian said she'd negotiated with her doctor to buy more time before the birth, despite a medical condition.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star had already made a pitstop at McDonald's and a bikini waxing salon when she got a call from her doctor.
"It was so crazy," she said.
"I get the call saying, 'Hey you have preeclampsia you have to deliver right now'"
Despite the warning, Kardashian couldn't bear to welcome her daughter while sporting dark-coloured polish.
"It was when I was still in my Linkin Park after-dark phase with my Burgundy nails," she said.
"I was like, 'No, no, no, I’m having a girl like I really need a nice light pink nail for delivery.'
So I told the doctor, 'Are you sure I have to deliver right now, can you give me like two hours?' And he was like, ‘Fine meet me in two hours.'"
Despite the holdup, Kardashian and her husband Kanye West welcomed North, their first child, in June 2013. They've since had three more kids together: Saint, 3, Chicago, 1, and Psalm, 4 months.
