Howdy, Modi: You are a rock star, Bollywood tells PM Narendra Modi
From Salman Khan to Akshay Kumar, Bollywood celebrities took to social media to hail Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his address in Houston, USA.
After Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed 50,000 people of the Indian-American community at the Howdy Modi event at NRG Stadium in Houston, Bollywood stars took to social media to praise the Prime Minister. From Karan Johar, Salman Khan to Akshay Kumar, many stars hailed Modi, saying that it's a proud moment for the country.
Akshay Kumar wrote, "Individually we are one drop. Together we are an ocean.’ A sea of people it was at the #HowdyModi event. India has truly arrived Globally! An absolute delight to watch PM @narendramodi ji saying All is well’ in multiple regional languages truly representative of 1.3B Indians!"

Karan Johar was one of the speakers at the recently concluded India Today Conclave Mumbai 2019. At the event, during a rapid-fire session, when Karan was asked, "What he would do if you woke up as Narendra Modi." The director replied saying, "I would keep doing what I'm doing."

The event - Howdy Modi - was organised to strengthen ties between India and America. PM Narendra Modi is currently on a week long trip to USA. He will also address UN General Assembly.
