Santos overcame Camptown 2-1 Saturday in the fourth annual Limacol football competition at the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue.

Santos fell behind to the Campbellville club after Kayci Robertson netted in the 18th minute.

It was an opportunistic finish from the forward who capitalized on a fumble from the goalkeeper to slot home unchallenged from inside the penalty box.

The lead remained unchanged at halftime, however, Rondel Peters equalised in the 51st minute from the penalty spot.

Brandon Solomon completed the come-from-behind win in the 85th minute, latching onto a cross from the left side before slapping his effort across the body of the custodian into the far corner.

Meanwhile, Georgetown Football Club (GFC) gained a walkover from Northern Rangers.  The tournament resumes today at the same venue with Pele engaging the Guyana Police Force (GPF) from 19:00hrs while Mahaica Determinators will tackle Dynamics FC at 21:00hrs.
