Share market update: Fertilizer stocks advance; Rashtriya Chemicals gains over 5%

NEW DELHI: Most fertilizer stocks were trading in the green in Monday's afternoon session.

Shares of Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers (up 5.59 per cent) , Basant Agro Tech (India) (up 4.75 per cent) , Deepak Fertilizers & Petrochemicals (up 4.63 per cent) , Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers (up 3.63 per cent) , Southern Petrochemicals Industries (up 3.61 per cent) were among the top gainers.

GSFC (up 2.92 per cent) , National Fertilizer (up 2.34 per cent) , Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore (up 2.33 per cent) , Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers (up 1.48 per cent) , Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers (up 1.39 per cent) , Bharat Agri Fert & Realty (up 0.74 per cent) , Coromandel International (up 0.57 per cent) too were trading in the positive zone.

Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals (down 3.99 per cent) , Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem (down 3.10 per cent) , Aries Agro (down 2.90 per cent) , M P Agro Industries (down 1.75 per cent) and Rama Phosphates (down 0.92 per cent) were trading with losses.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 352.45 points up at 11,626.65 while the 30share BSE Sensex was up 1225.26 points at 39,239.88 at around 02:22 pm.

Larsen & Toubro (up 8.73 per cent) , Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone (up 7.68 per cent) , ITC (up 7.65 per cent) , Bajaj Finance (up 7.56 per cent) and IndusInd Bank (up 7.46 per cent) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Zee Entertainment Enterprises (down 6.52 per cent) , Infosys (down 4.88 per cent) , Tata Motors (down 3.90 per cent) and Dr. Reddy's Laboratories (down 3.66 per cent) were trading in the red.
