The latest release in the NOW 100 hits stable is guaranteed to have family members arguing over which is the best movie track of all time.

Following the summer launch of the NOW Forgotten 80s album , following its Ultimate 80s album, there now comes NOW 100 Hits Movies - another five-CD pack of music greats.

Ands the selection of the 'greatest movies' greatest hits' seems set to feature something for all ages, with favourite tracks spanning decades.

Amongst the 100 songs are the likes of Hot Chocolate’s You Sexy Thing used in The Full Monty; Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes' rendition of (I've Had) The Time Of My Life in Dirty Dancing; Dido's Here With Me of Love Actually; Robbie Williams ' Have You Met Miss Jones? from Bridget Jones’s Diary and Sam Smith's Writing's On The Wall from Spectre.

Many of the chosen tracks signal iconic scenes from the movies and a spokesman for the new release said: "Music is undoubtedly one of the most important factors in films.

"Where would Bond be without a fully-orchestrated, show-stopping ballad?

"What is The Bodyguard without Whitney? How can Jack and Rose’s heart-breaking story truly be told aboard the Titanic without  My Heart Will Go On  in the background?

"A great score or soundtrack can create a box office hit."

Old favourites include the likes of Shirley Bassey singing the theme of Goldfinger and Johnny Cash's I Walk The Line alongside haunting themes from  Schindler's List and Jaws and upbeat numbers such as Oh, Pretty Woman and La Bamba.

Tapping into the current trend for film musicals, the set also includes songs from the likes of The Greatest Showman;  Mamma Mia! and  Rocketman.
