Bishkek, Sept.23, 2019 /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan's national wrestling team have completed its performance at the World Cup in Kazakhstan, the press service of the State Agency for Youth Affairs, Physical Culture and Sports reported.
The tournament took place in Nur-Sultan.
At the competitions domestic athletes won two licenses for the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo - Atabek Azizbekov (87 kg) in Greco-Roman wrestling and Aisuluu Tynybekova (62 kg).
In addition, for the first time in the history of the country, Tynybekova won the gold medal, becoming a world champion. In the final, she defeated rival from Bulgaria.
