A case has been booked against Nellore (Rural) MLA and YSRC leader Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy and his associate Bidadavolu Srikanth Reddy for threatening and intimidating a woman mandal parishad development officer.

VIJAYAWADA: A case has been booked against Nellore (Rural) MLA and YSRC leader Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy and his associate Bidadavolu Srikanth Reddy for threatening and intimidating a woman mandal parishad development officer.
The complaint was lodged by Venkatachalam MPDO Sarala. Srikanth Reddy had applied for a water connection for his layout at Golagamudi. As there were some issues with the layout, Sarala asked Srikanth Reddy to submit requisite details.
According to her complaint, Sridhar Reddy called her over the phone and threatened she clear the issue within 24 hours.
As Sarala was busy with village secretariat works, the file was kept pending. She alleged that on Friday night, Sridhar Reddy, with his followers came to her house and removed the power and cable connections. They dug a deep pit to cut off water connection and threw a garbage bin in front of the house.
A case was booked against Sridhar Reddy and Srikanth Reddy for threatening a government official.
