Aligarh: Activists demand President’s rule in West Bengal
The activists alleged that the hindu families in West Bengal are being purposely targeted under the protection of the chief minister.
AGRA: The social and right-wing activists in Aligarh have urged the President of India to dismiss the West Bengal government and impose the President’s rule there in view of the total break down of law and order in the state, as was evident from the brutal murder of three members of a family, associated with RSS.
In a memorandum given to the President of India Ram Nath Kovind through the ADM (City) RK Malpani, social activists stated that West Bengal may turn into another Kashmir, if no immediate action is taken against the Mamata Banerjee-led government in West Bengal, which is 'anti-hindus'.
This will vitiate the peaceful atmosphere of the nation.
The activists alleged that the hindu families in West Bengal are being purposely targeted under the protection of the chief minister.
Bajrang Dal pracharak in Aligarh city, Guarav Sharma, who also came to handover the memorandum, said that they can not tolerate violence and anti-hindu government in West Bengal. "We just want that the central government should take over the charge of the state and maintain peace there," said Sharma.
It may be recalled that on October 8, police had confirmed that a primary school teacher, Bondhu Gopal Pal (35), his pregnant wife Beauty and their 8-year-old child were found dead at their residence in Jiaganj area of Mursidabad district.
