Moral policing: Youth assaulted in Karnataka’s Mandya

A gang of around 20 members assaulted a youth for going out with girl colleagues in his car. The shocking incident of moral policing took place in Karnataka’s Mandya. A video of the incident has been widely circulated on social media. The youth’s car was stopped by the gang members and he was confronted and thrashed for travelling with girls in his car. Police have registered a case against 20 people in this regard and a search operation has been launched to nab all the accused.
