Bihar: Five-year-old raped by uncle in Saran

CHHAPRA: A five-year-old girl was raped allegedly by her uncle on Sunday night. Saran SP Har Kishore Rai said the accused, Chandan Kumar (30), was arrested on Monday morning.
Police sources said the victim slept with her parents after taking dinner. But her uncle Chandan, allegedly in an inebriated condition, lifted her and committed the crime. Hearing the girl’s screams, her parents rushed to the other room and found her crying in pain.
Sources said the accused is married and has three children.He is elder to the victim’s father.
The victim was brought to Chhapra Sadar hospital for medical examination on Monday morning. An FIR was lodged with Marhoura police station on the statement of the victim’s mother.
