The task of watching 30 Disney movies in 30 days is up for grabs — and it pays all right too. Reviews.org will give about $1,000 to five hardcore fans who nab the job.
The job posting comes ahead of the launch of Disney+, the highly anticipated “family-friendly” streaming service to rival Netflix and Amazon that will also serve as a library of its beloved movies and more. It’s expected to be available at the end of November for $6.99 a month.
The lucky applicants will be reviewing movies and TV shows cataloged on the new streaming service. They include everything from the old classics like “Bambi” and “Cinderella” to those in the Marvel universe — although you may want to skip the newer ones, which The Post’s critic laments have been drained of their colorful aesthetic.
There are perks, though, outside of the obvious joy of watching a movie every day: Reviewers will get a subscription to Disney+ for a year.
They’ll also throw in a Disney-centric movie-watching kit including a mouse-themed blanket, four beverage cups and a Pixar popcorn popper with kernels to pop.
The application specifies that you must be a US citizen, older than 18 and “as swift as a coursing river, with all the force of a great typhoon” to do the job, to quote Donny Osmond’s song “I’ll Make a Man Out of You” from the animated film “Mulan.”
The application also implies that a strong social media presence is a plus. Apply by midnight on Nov. 7, 2019, or you’ll turn into a pumpkin — we mean, you’ll have no shot at the job.
