THURSDAY: 1:30 p.m. "The African Presence in America Before 1619: A Symposium for a New Narrative." Room 156, L. Gale Lemerand School of Nursing, 739 W. International Speedway Blvd.

FRIDAY: 3 p.m. B-CU brick unveiling at the University Quad.

FRIDAY: 7 p.m. Pep rally, Ocean Center, 101 N. Atlantic Ave., tickets, $10.

SATURDAY: 9 a.m. Homecoming parade, Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard.

SATURDAY: 4 p.m. Tailgate and football game versus South Carolina State, Daytona Stadium, 3917 LPGA Blvd.
