Three-year-old boy has a miraculous escape when he plummets 35ft from a balcony and lands on a passing rickshaw

A 3-year-old boy fell from a second-floor balcony and survived after landing directly on a passing rickshaw in India.

Parv Jain was playing at a great height when he lost his balance and plummeted 35 feet from the balcony in Tikamgarh in Madhya Pradesh state.

In the horrifying clip, a man is seen slowly pushing the passenger cart through a narrow back-street, on October 18.

Moments later, a figure comes crashing down from above and hurdles straight into the cart's basket.

The rickshaw-driver stops for a brief moment and turns to check on the toddler who has been flung into his vehicle, in the CCTV footage. He appears to be trying to talk to the boy.

A local businessman runs out of a building across the street to check on the boy.

And slowly more gather around, with four each lending a hand to help lift the little boy out of the rickshaw.

Parv is carried in the arms of one of the men and rushed into the nearby shop while another is standing outside waiting.

As one of the men drive the cart away as others stand and observe the drop which the boy fell from.

He waves his arm in the air as though he is trying to encourage her to hurry up and gives her a friendly push.

She then makes a hasty exit from the building and runs out of the camera's view.  

Parv was taken to hospital but later discharged with no injuries.

And the toddler's family thanked the rickshaw driver by buying him new clothes and sweets for his children.
