Jehanabad man robbed of Rs 3 lakh in Khagaul
PATNA: Motorbike-borne criminals looted Rs3 lakh from a man at gunpoint near Khagaul in Patna on Monday. This is the second incident of cash loot in the area in the last two days.
Amresh Kumar, a resident of Jehanabad, was going to meet the proprietor of a wedding hall after parking his car at Hadaspura under the Khagaul police station area when two criminals on a bike snatched the bag after hitting him from behind.

Amresh, who works in a private firm in Delhi, raised an alarm, but the robbers escaped. Amresh told the police that he had to pay the amount as advance for booking the hall for his daughter’s marriage.
On Saturday, railways loco pilot Rajiv Ranjan was robbed of Rs5 lakh near the railway overbridge under the Khagaul police station area. The police have failed to make any breakthrough in both the cases. When contacted, Danapur SDPO Ashok Mishra said the police have got some clues about the gang involved in the crime.
