Ernakulam MP Hibi Eden's wife have stoked upon massive controversy. Anna Linda Eden courted controversy after she put up a post on Facebook with a caption reading “Fate is like rape if you can’t resist it then try to enjoy it (sic).” Anna faced severe criticism for trivializing rape. People came out with hashtags like ‘#SayNoToRapeJokes’ and #EndRapeJokeFilth while pointing out that her post was disheartening and was awfully hurtful to survivors and their families. Relevantly, she later issued an apology in another Facebook post.
