It's the month of Bonfire Night and the run-up to the Christmas season, so what movies are coming out in the cinema?

Well, with the festive season approaching, November is to deliver us the Christmas romcom Last Christmas starring Emilia Clarke and Henry Golding - complete with a killer soundtrack featuring the late, great George Michael.

Additionally, to keep with that snowy feel, we have the new Disney offering with Frozen II , which will see Elsa (Idina Menzel) on a quest for the truth and her sister Anna ( Kristen Bell ) trying to protect her.

Meanwhile, it's crime drama galore with the gangster epic The Irishman from director Martin Scorsese and a jolly-good whodunnit with the Daniel Craig -led all-star Knives Out.

A liberal-minded couple, Amy and Peter Edgar (Naomi Watts and Tim Roth), are forced to reconsider their image of their adopted son (Kelvin Harrison Jr.) after they discover he has written an extremley disturbing essay for his class at school. Also stars Octavia Spencer.

Midway

In this war film from director Roland Emmerich, US soldiers and pilots change the course of World War II during the Battle of Midway in June 1942. The US and Imperial Japanese naval forces fought for four days. Starring Luke Evans, Patrick Wilson, Woody Harrelson, Nick Jonas, and Mandy Moore.

The Irishman

New crime epic from Martin Scorsese. In the 1950s, truck driver Frank Sheeran (Robert De Niro) gets involved with Russell Bufalino (Joe Pesci) and his Pennsylvania crime family. As Sheeran climbs the ranks to become a top hit man, he also goes to work for Jimmy Hoffa (Al Pacino) - a powerful Teamster tied to organized crime.

The Nightingale
