Fantasy football: Top pick-ups and long shots after Week 7

The Post’s Drew Loftis evaluates all the relevant fantasy football news from Week 7 of the NFL season.

Be in a rush

Kareem Hunt RB, Browns
Hunt was cleared to return to practice this week. He was suspended for the first eight games and is coming off hernia surgery. He will be eligible to play Week 10. If you have Nick Chubb, Hunt is a strong handcuff option down the stretch.

Derrius Guice RB, Redskins

Could return to practice this week. When or if he does return from his latest knee injury, he will be on a bad offense and likely to share the workload with Adrian Peterson for at least a few weeks. Minimal interest.

Brian Hill RB, Falcons

Devonta Freeman could face a suspension after getting ejected Sunday. Fellow RB Ito Smith left the game on a cart with a head injury. Hill is next in line.

Gus Edwards RB, Ravens

Justice Hill got zero carries Sunday, If you need a Mark Ingram handcuff, it is Edwards.

Thrown them a bone

Corey Davis WR, Titans
In six games this year with Marcus Mariota at QB, Davis had one good game — or as many good games as he has had in one game with Ryan Tannehill. Talent always has been there. Worth the risk that the opportunity will arrive.

Alex Erickson WR, Bengals

He has 20 targets over the past two weeks, and hauled in eight catches for 137 yards Sunday. As long as A.J. Green remains out, Erickson is a decent emergency fantasy starter.

Bisi Johnson WR, Vikings

With Adam Thielen expected to miss Thursday’s game against the Redskins, Johnson will step into a larger role.

Josh Hill TE, Saints
Jared Cook has been dealing with an ankle injury. If it lingers into Week 8, Hill is a great streaming option against a Cardinals defense that is porous vs. tight ends.
