Tottenham Hotspur have the chance to end Liverpool unbeaten start to the Premier League season on Sunday.
Tottenham Hotspur fans have provided a mixed reaction to Mo Salah being in line to potentially return for Liverpool when they take on Spurs in the Premier League on Sunday.
Salah missed Liverpool’s 1-1 draw with Manchester United last time out because of an ankle injury, but ahead of that Spurs tie he has now returned to training.
Before that game against Tottenham, Jurgen Klopp’s side will take on Genk away from home in the Champions League and the German manager made it clear that he will not risk his player, as reported by The Liverpool Echo.
Whilst the news that Salah has returned is positive for Liverpool, it does make Tottenham’s life that little harder as they will now prepare for that Sunday match.
In recent months, Spurs have been pretty dreadful, but on Tuesday night, they secured a much-needed victory when they thumped Red Star Belgrade 5-0.
Like Liverpool fans with Salah’s return, Spurs will now head into that game at Anfield with some confidence in their legs, but their fans are well aware of what Salah can do if he starts.
Spurs fans know that they will be tested on the day, but they are hopeful that some of their players can deal with the high-flying Egyptian.
