PATNA: A three-day fest, christened ‘Tech-e-bana’, began at
Magadh Mahila College (MMC) on Wednesday. Organized by the department of computer applications, the fest will focus on educating the students about the importance of becoming tech-savvy.
Events like face painting, debate, quiz, talk show and street play will be conducted during the three days. On Day 1, several competitions, exhibitions and lectures were organized on MMC campus.
Addressing the students,
Patna University vice-chancellor Rash Bihari Prasad Singh, who was the chief guest of the event, said, “Technology cannot be developed in isolation, but through celebration.”
MMC principal Shashi Sharma pointed out that such events helped the students to learn skills like event management, team building and interpersonal communication.
“This is the first time that we are organizing a
tech fest in our college because we believe that digitalization is really important for students,” she said.
