Prime Minister himself had hinted me a few months about the same. I was asked whether I was ready to offer my service outside Kerala. As a humble party worker, I accept the new role with gratitude and hope I could deliver'', Pillai said. He would be the third Malayali occupying the office of Mizoram governor.
