AGRA: Ahead of the expected verdict on the
Ayodhya land dispute case,
Mathura administration on Wednesday organised a meeting with 'Sants' and 'Maulvis' of the town and asked them to ensure that their respective communities do not misuse social media to spread misinformation and maintain peace under all circumstances.

Shalabh Mathur said that the aim of organising such meetings is to build confidence among people and take suggestions from them.
He said, during the meeting, the participants were also advised to spread the message among their communities to avoid gathering at one place on the day of the verdict. He said the administration will not allow anyone to vitiate the atmosphere.
The SSP said, around 5,000 volunteers from public, including government officials, retired army personnel, teachers, gram pradhans, selected by police will remain active in the district and they will keep a track of nearby localities and inform the police accordingly. District magistrate

According to police officials, force will be deployed at sensitive places in Mathura and wherever there are possibilities of peace being disturbed.
