The FIR was registered against Yadav with Paliganj police station on October 30 on the basis of a complaint lodged by BJP's OBC morcha district president (rural) Ravi Kumar.

PATNA: Police have registered an FIR against Ram Pravesh Yadav, a BSP neta, for allegedly abusing PM Narendra Modi and inciting youths by sharing a police's mock drill video in an instant messaging platform and falsely claiming that the Centre had ordered firing on youths protesting against privatisation of public sector units. Interestingly, some police officers are also members of the group in which the video clip was shared.

According to FIR, Yadav is in charge of BSP's Pataliputra Lok Sabha seat. He had allegedly posted a video and forwarded written content abusing the PM on October 30.
