Over 20 schoolchildren injured in two road accidents in Azamgarh

AZAMGARH: Over 20 schoolchildren suffered injuries in two separate road accidents in Atraulia and Mehnagar areas of Azamgarh district on Monday.
In the first incident, a 16 students of Vidya Mandir of Ambedkar Nagar district were injured when the bus they were travelling in rammed into a road divider near Atraulia police station. The students were returning from an educational tour in Varanasi.
Locals and police personnel rushed the injured students to a hospital. Condition of one of the students is said to be critical.
In another incident, six students suffered injuries after their school bus collided with a roadside tree in Mehnagar area. Locals immediately called ambulances and rushed the injured students to hospital.
