PhD course work exams in Patna University on November 18, 19

PATNA: Around 300 students will take the Patna University (PU) PhD course work examination-2018 on November 18 and 19.
According to a notification issued by PU, the examination will be held from 12 noon to 3pm at Patna Science College examination hall. Paper I on research methodology is to be conducted on November 18 and Paper II on the subject concerned is to be held on November 19.
Each paper would be of 100 marks.The question paper will have three sections — A, B and C. While group ‘A’ will have 10 multiple choice objective questions of one mark each, group ‘B’ consists of five short-answer questions (four to be answered and each of 7.5 marks). Group C will have five questions (any three to be answered and each of 20 marks) for long answers.
The qualifying marks in each paper is 55%. Only those who qualify the course work examination would be entitled for PhD work registration in PU.
Meanwhile, more than 2,800 students are likely to appear in the PU PhD admission test-2018 scheduled on November 9.
