Leeds United supporters on Twitter were blown away by Eberechi Eze as Marcelo Bielsa’s side comfortably beat Queens Park Rangers over the weekend.

Highly-rated talent Eze, 21, started the game at Elland Road, and despite playing for the other team, he impressed the Leeds faithful with his performance.

Whilst QPR didn’t get on the scoresheet, Eze produced a very healthy display, as he had a great contest with Leeds man Stuart Dallas.

There were some Leeds fans who pointed out that they think Eze is one of the best opposition players to play at Elland Road this season.

Whilst the Leeds supporters would love to see him in Yorkshire and working with Marcelo Bielsa, they think that he is Premier League bound sooner later than later.

Marcelo Bielsa, manager of Leeds United arrives prior to the Sky Bet Championship match between Leeds United and Queens Park Rangers at Elland Road on November 02, 2019 in Leeds, England.

Given Eze’s age, and the fact that he is playing for a team that is not being tipped for a top-six finish, it wouldn’t be a surprise if he’s not at the London club next season.

But this is the Championship and it provides underdogs with the chance to surprise all and finish in the top-six. Mark Warburton will be well aware that if he can keep Eze fit then his chances of sneaking into a top-six place will increase.

Despite coming up against Eze’s threat, Leeds were able to stop him from scoring or creating the chances for his team to score, as Leeds moved back into the automatic places. But that can all change if West Brom beat Stoke City on Monday night.

Here is a selection of Leeds fans reacting to Eze’s performance at Elland Road:

He might be out of our price range already, but Leeds could do a lot worse than buying Eberechi Eze in January. For me, he’s the best player we’ve come against all season. #lufc
