Firstsource Q2 net profit dips to Rs 67.3 cr
New Delhi, Nov 6 () BPO firm Firstsource Solutions Ltd on Wednesday posted a 27.4 per cent decline in consolidated net profit to Rs 67.3 crore for the September 2019 quarter. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 92.7 crore in the year-ago period, Firstsource Solutions said in a regulatory filing. Its revenues from operations, however, increased 2.8 per cent year-on-year to Rs 971.4 crore in the September 2019 quarter from Rs 944.2 crore in the September 2018 quarter, it added.

"With the leadership change, we are redefining our strategy and investing in developing additional solutions for our customers for the new digital era," Sanjiv Goenka, Chairman of RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group and Firstsource Solutions, said. Its employee strength was 20,001 as of September 30 with addition of 1,451 employees in the quarter.

* ICICI Bank opens 30 new branches in Delhi-NCR
* ICICI Bank has opened 30 new branches in Delhi-NCR in the current financial year, the private sector lender said in a statement Wednesday.
This is part of the nationwide branch expansion initiative undertaken by the bank under which it aims to open 450 new branches across the country in 2019-20, of which 385 have already been opened, it added. The new branches have been opened in locations like Palam Colony, Yususf Sarai, Chitranjan Park, Azad Market in Delhi, Greenfields and Sector 79 in Faridabad, Chander Nagar and Raj Nagar Extn in Ghaziabad, DLF Corporate Park and Gurugram University in Gurugram, Gaur City 2 in Greater Noida, among many others.

"The expansion in the region has resulted in the Bank now having a branch network of over 320 branches and extension counters in Delhi NCR along with nearly 1,750 ATMs," the bank said. The bank has now a retail network of nearly 5,260 branches across the country.

* WeP Solutions partners Ricoh Asia Pacific
* BSE-listed WeP Solutions Ltd on Wednesday said it has inked a distribution agreement with Ricoh Asia Pacific Operations Ltd.
Under this agreement, WeP has the rights to sell and service Ricoh's product portfolio that addresses the digital printing market in India, a statement said.
