A Diwali dhamaka for these girls in Lucknow

A well-known girls’ school in Lucknow recently hosted a Diali party for their students. A fun-filled evening of dance, music, games and prizes started with the dancing extravaganza titled Diwali Dance Dhamaka organized by the alumni association of the girls’ college.

The musical score by DJ Moni was an instant hit with the young crowd.Songs like Closer, Bachna Ae Haseeno with recent hits like Ghungroo and the Jawani song made the girls ask for an encore. Diwali being the theme of the party, we spotted most girls dressed in Indian attire. Ila Kapoor and Ishita made the evening more happening with their hosting skills.

The most awaited part of the evening was the giving away of titles. Shambhavi Pandey was crowned the Diwali Queen while Lavanya Dhakrey bagged the title of Diwali Princess. Last but not the least, Surabhi Garg stood as the Best Dancer. The Lucky Draw Hamper was won by Sanvi Sharma of Class III. The evening concluded with a sparkling display of fireworks.
