Lucknow and Kanpur third most polluted cities in country

LUCKNOW: Air quality in UP cities deteriorated again on Thursday, with Moradabad recording the highest pollution level in the country at Air Quality Index (AQI) of 435. Lucknow and Kanpur continued to be equally polluted with AQI 336, sharing the third place in the list of the most polluted cities of the country.

This was for the third consecutive day that the two UP cities took the top slots on the list.Pollution levels in four UP cities shifted to ‘very poor’ from ‘poor’ category with their AQI.
These were: Baghpat (352), Noida (328), Ghaziabad (325) and Greater Noida (318).
